EDLD 5362:  Week 2  Researching the various networks on the web I found quite a wide variety. Now educators have a great advantage of using computer networks to provide full services to their students online. Two of the products I found were Edmodo and Ning which are use at our campus that allows a teacher provides a location for students and parents to see assignments, class calendar, chat and communication. Ning provides web site to post blogs and by specific interests and allows collaboration from all members. During the Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada, several of the student athletics were able to keep up with their class assignments while competing through the use of Edmodo.
